Default DIY rear u joint replacement?

ive been searching all over the forum (and google for that matter) and havent have much luck findin anything about changing it out. Anyone know if there is a DIY or does anyone have any tips on changin this out and exactly what all is needed with the change? Ive got the Haynes book but its not 100% clear to me what all is needed to go so any extra input is appreciated.

- Thanks

what u joint are you trying to do.. although its the same to change any one.. if its the one on your rear yoke, just undo from the yoke and pull the drive shaft right out of the truck.. Undo the clips at the ends of the ujoint holding it into the drive shaft. open a vice and set the u joint in it so the 2 ends you undid from the yoke sit on top of the vice and the d/shaft sits loosly in the middle of the vice opening.. you wanna hit the dshaft under the hole where you took the clip out, dont have to hit that hard usually.. the force from the hammer and the vice pushing up on the ujoint will slide the cap out of that hole completely and leave you with the + of the joint still in the end of the dshaft.. flip it over and do the same thing to get the other cap out.. then the + part will just fall out..

Its hard to explain.. theres gotta be a good video on you tube if you look..

to put the new one in do the exact opposite and tap the caps into the holes with a socket just samller then the hole opening and make sure no needle bearing fall out somehow and hit the ground.. I usually tape cap to cap around the you joint a couple craps with masking tape on the 2 caps that are going into the yoke so they dont accidentally fall off.. the tape will just tear off when you start driving..
