Rock lights are what you used to see what your rolling over at night. I had them on my 99ZR2 for night time rock crawling. they were great. then I wired mine on my truck to the cargo light so they would come on when i unlocked the truck to see what i was stepping in at night before i got in or out of it.

had a kid getting out of his daddys escalade one night while i was getting in my truck. the kid goes, daddy, hows come our truck doesnt have that. ;D





















In these pics i still had a 3rd light under my front bumper, but ive taken it off because of my new skid plate in that area.

pretty cool...but for $130 the OP posted kit is a bit neater, especially if you were in high school or went trail riding with alot of people

 

i know a kid who has a couple sets of HIDs installed under his car and he's got them wired to his alarm. Everytime he unlocks the doors, he lights up the entire parking lot underneath him and around him.

These sets do look kinda cool though. Sure beats the ricer neon look.

 

that is pretty cool , would come in handy when im leaving the deer camp to locate rocks and such .

 

Or when your unloading stuff from the truck and onto the fourwheeler, I drop crap and leave stuff around the truck all the time. I have some sort of parasitic drain though, so I dont know how long my rig could handle the lights

 

Thats what mine do. they come on when i hit the unlock button my my keyfob.
