Default Do front Coils need replacing

Hi,
2002 1500 2WD RAM, 120K miles. Is there any (formal or otherwise) recommendation to replace front coil springs Over time, do the front coils sag or loose regidity/performance?

If replacing is it best to go with standard replacement part (no thicker or lifted springs) if not interested in heavier load or extra lift?

Thanks,

you should not have to replace springs unless they have been beat to death . the shocks take most of the abuse . may just need new shocks

Any way to tell if they are beat versus the shocks? Inspection, measurements, riding characteristics?

you could measure them off the truck with no load vs a new one no load .

However, I do have a set of 3" CST lift springs for sale if you are interested.

if after you go over a bump, if your truck keeps bouncing up and down for more than 1 or 2 times, its time for new shocks.
