Default 05 QC under rear seat sub box for 8" subs

I have 2 8" RF subs and a good amp from a previous vehicle and I want an under the rear seat sub box that I can mount these in. All I can find are 10" and 12" boxes.

Any suggestion? I have never made a speaker box and really don't have the extra time right now to make one.

HERE ya go. Kinda pricey for a cheap made enclosure, but you won't have to make it.

You could use an 8'' mounting bracket and modify it to fit the 10'' enclosure. As long as you find a way to make sturdy brackets to link the enclosure with the speaker you should be fine.

Thx. those do look cheap. If I can't find anything else it might work. Anyone else know of other enclosures for 8s

Would it not be better and easier to sell or trade off the 8's and at least get 10's?

That might be an option. I was just thinking of using them since they have been laying around for a couple years taking up room in the basement. I don't know what I could get out of them though, they are Rockford Fosgate punchs that are about 8 years old.

At the same time they may be dry rotted if they are foam surrounds on them

I looked at them yesterday, the seem to be in good shape still. At one time these were from RFs top of the line series of subs. I am going to hook them up as well as my amp before I decide what to do.

Anyone else know of any 8" sub enclosures for under the rear seat of a QC?
