Default Locking Tailgates

Who has one and where did you get it from? We recently moved to a new office location back in january and since moving there have been about 5 tailgates ripped off our work trucks and private trucks (not mine thankfully, just all the chevy's). I know with my hard top tonneau cover on and I cannot open the tailgate at all as there is a solid lip all around the top of the tailgate that prevents it from being opened when the cover is down and locked but that doesn't mean that if someone were to pull hard enough that they couldn't get in.

Anyway, my company is looking to buy a few for the work trucks and I know that there are a few of us in the office that wouldn't mind the extra protection as well.

ive got a pop 'n lock tailgate lock. i love it. easy install too. and it ties in with your regular electric locks. so works off your key fob. the only problem i can foresee with it (which i have not encountered yet) is that since there is no key hole, if the battery dies, you cant get into the bed.

edit: got it at moes.

RH my hard cover is fine and does not allow you to open the tailgate because of the lip it has. Im just looking for a simple lock for the tailgate handle for both my truck and our company trucks, so nothing to fancy.

I did the hose clam trick. But with the clamp facing down so that you can only use a 5/16 wrench to get it off.

Image is not mine got it form google.

That is one loaded statement.

I just use a Bully-Pup lock. I have an A.R.E. tonneau as well.
