thats insane, my bro did his front bumper, 50$ canadian to blast and I dont know what he payed for the powdercoat..

I think blasting would be the way to go. My question is, can the Powder Coating folks match PR4 (Flame Red) color?

yea i guess mine are a little cheaper down here...there are like 15 within 40 miles of me, they do alot of the oil/gas parts and stuff

time...It will take an evening to take them off, two days at the shop, and a few hours to put them back on. I am wanting to paint the plastic part on/in the bumpers so I gotta have time for that too. Im thinking around spring break or something

Here in Virginia it is hard to find anyone to blast. The EPA folks make it expensive to operate a shop. Need a booth. I have my own blaster and just go behingd the shed. lol

i did this on my rear bumper. i used an air powered 90 with a m3 sand paper disc.

although it starts to flake around the edges i guess due to the debris flung up by my wider tires. Had a guy powdercoat my front in PR4. Its a perfect match but the finish/shine wont be.
