Now that's the look that is just trick looking. I went the same way except with 34's. I love the look of a slightly lifted truck with the biggest possible tire to fill up the wheel wells. Just like the true trophy trucks. Now people will call me stupid but I actually took off my front sway bar to give the truck a softer suspension feel. I already cruised on the freeway doing 70+ mph and it rides fine. I like the body roll when turning, makes it feel like i'm in a gnarly off road truck haha. BTW i was trying to pinb point what the knocking sound is in my suspension. thats why i took it off, i just havent replaced it yet.

Hmm I dont see a 2wd 2.5in kit. I think you got the 2in spacer (which raises over 2in), which would be the same one as me. There is a 2.5in 4x4 though

Yea, they say that we only should go 1.5 though. LA has some BAD roads so mine makes contact a few times daily. I have a 1.5 in block on the back and mine is actually nose up still? Another thread though....

Ya I got the 2.5" on mine and its a 4x4, with 34.5" tires and no rub issues at all.

Do you guys with 2wd 2in+ level get longer shocks or same factory ones? Also Matt99, where did you get the rear block from?

I did, you can get 2500 shocks and they will be about perfect. But if I were to do it over again, I would get the 1.5in spacer. I got the block from my local 4x4 place. But you can get a block at Advance Auto/most of your local shops. The block is cheap, the Ubolts are the more expensive of the two

OP, are those tires loud going down the road?? And if you get a little strip of rubber, you can mount it between the top of the shock (the threaded stub) and the coil spring (on the outside of the spring bucket), and it will kinda absorb some of the shock from the UCA/Spring bucket hitting

My truck is the same color as yours explorer9950. I am in the market for tires and wheels and was wondering about chrome & black. But after seeing on yours, I think they look great!!

I just got my "35's" put on, they are actually 34.6"...had them put on my 2007 Ram 1500 2wd, which already has a 2.5" level kit on it. I had them placed on the XD Series Spy rims in an 18". The rims have a backspacing of 4.53, and offset of -12mm. These puppies rubbed pretty bad while in reverse and turning, and minor rubbing while going forward and hard turn, not full lock, but hard turn. So, there is some trimming of the plastic required...I attached some pics also...enjoy!!

Nice Truck. I like the wheel/tire package you got. I have a 06 same color as yours. Now that I saw what it would look like on 35's I am going to have to level it.

Looks real nice. It's a shame that you had to cut, tho.
