Default Answer - Level kit + 35's PICS!!

Hey guys...

well here is the final verdict, I know people say yes and no to the whole "will they rub" issue. Well I have the facts here. I just got my "35's" put on, they are actually 34.6"...had them put on my 2007 Ram 1500 2wd, which already has a 2.5" level kit on it. I had them placed on the XD Series Spy rims in an 18". The rims have a backspacing of 4.53, and offset of -12mm. These puppies rubbed pretty bad while in reverse and turning, and minor rubbing while going forward and hard turn, not full lock, but hard turn. So, there is some trimming of the plastic required...I attached some pics also...enjoy!!

I like them. With the red truck, then black wheels and the tint, it sets the whole truck off nice

Gotta think about when your hitting those bumps while turning as well. You may have a little more conatct then.

At any rate.. Wheels/tires look sweet. Nice choice.

the "facts" are going to be different for different people.

I clear the 35s on my truck without a problem, and they are 35x13.5

If they were only 35x12.5 I'm pretty sure I would even be fine at full lock.

I really only get rubbing when I full lock on a slope.

nice wheels, i like the spy's but there too much chrome for my truck.

My Toyo's actually measured 35.2" tall with rolling weight on them and i only had to trim about the same amount you did. my B.S. is 4.76" though too. that slight bit may help alot.

most 35"s arent really 35" tall though. the procomps measure 34.5" actual height. theres only a few companys that measure what they say.
