I will be changing my outer tie rods soon and have a question. When checking Rockauto's website I noticed that they sell several different brands. I have used Moog before but the website lists a brand called Dezzo? I think or at least something like that. It claims to be stronger and greaseable. Which brand should I get to replace mine with?

 

I'd prefer greasable replacements over sealed if that makes any difference.

 

Ive always used moog, ive never heard of dezzo though.. Im the type of person that thinks why **** with something that works.. never had a problem with moog and I offroad my trucks pretty good..

 

+1 for Moog. Greasable and tough. Well worth the extra few bucks.

Are the .oogs greasable though? I've heard some people say that they are while others say the opposite for our truck

 

I bought moogs @ advance auto that are NOT greasable...but lifetime warranty makes up for it IMO....pay for it once and free forever after that....

 

hmm i didnt know that they made non greasable ones.. everything ive worked on was older trucks until this one. I just remember all the moog stuff coming with a greasenipple or else a plug you you can choose what you wanna put in.

 

moog has both greasable and non. i have greasable moog balljoints, and was just looking at a set up moog tie rod ends that arent greaseable. just be sure to verify before you buy.
