reverse lights intergrated in to the rear bumper

Do you remember the wiring for the reverse light set up? was it hard or pop the cover off and plug n play?/

But if you want to wire them to a switch like I did, I just attached a longer piece of wire from the VLED positive lead back to the switch in the cab. I followed the parking brake line, pretty straight forward. Grounded the negative lead to the frame. Then wired the positive terminal of the switch with an inline fuse to the battery and ground the negative terminal to steel.

how bright are those license plate lights? Do they help with backing up at all?

yea to me they sure do. They are some of the brightest leds out there for their size.

if you put a nice coat of rustoleom on the bare metal areas after you cut anything then it wont rust.
Chrome is no more maintenance than paint. Just wax once in a while.

i decked out my first truck in chrome and after the weekly cleaning to keep it from looking like ****, i got over it real quick. Ill never put another piece of aftermarket chrome on a vehicle i own. its stainless polished, or black.
