I don't know if this has ever been posted before but, are there any mods out there that will get all 345HP to the rear wheels? Or at least 80-90% of it? Not long after I bought my truck I found out that they only get about 280 RWHP, I thought, WTF is this! That's way too much loss. Anyway, any ideas?

new transmission/torque converter would help. High flow everything like CAI, Exhaust, cats, headers. New cam.

Or some boost or juice.

If you are getting 280HP to the wheels then you already have over 80% to the ground. 345*.8=276. You are getting 81.16%

What do you want to do, add more power or reduce driveline loss? There is not way to get 100% of the power available at the flywheel to the rear wheels.

Your quite a bit over stock there... with a tuner, exhaust, and cai I was only getting 276rwhp to the wheels... Stock you are looking at a 28% loss through the drive train or upper 240's-250's to the wheels.

To get that mower to the ground more efficently, a new torque converter will free up about 6% of the 14% that is lost through the stock converter, and an e-fan will free up some power too but thats about it.

Anybody tried the factory converter for the 09 R/T? It is supposed to be better than ours.

I bet its not as efficient as an aftermarket one. So if you're gonna pay to replace the converter, why not do it right? also get some performance out of it...

im convinced anything between the engine and rear differential that comes off the dodge assembly line is absolute crap and needs replaced

I was just thinking if there was ever warranty work done, that I might be able to get my dealer to install one of those instead. Lifetime powertrain warranty. Just thinking ahead

I beleive the rt's converter is just a modified stock converter with a higher stall and a looser fit.

I read it's supposed to be more efficient and launch harder. I dunno.
