Yep, try the Deep Crystal system: Step 1 Cleaner / Step 2 Wax / Step 3 Polish. The more coats of polish you do the better finish. I'll be doing mine in the coming weeks and will post up some pic's.

Runs about $30 for all three components. I also use their Gold Class wash which has performed pretty well.

If I'm not mistaken, Zymol in the US is made by turtle wax, and is almost the same thing. For my VW's, I used to buy the European Zymol on line (expensive!) and it was the real deal.

Matt, If you look on Maguiars website under the Deep Crystal Step 1/2/3 system, it's only about $7.49 for each (Cleaner/Wax/Polish). It's essential to use a cleaner 1st, then wax, then the polish brings it all out.

I have the Maguiars kit. The maguiars bodyshop polish, meguiars gold class cleaner wax, their clear coat wax, and their carnuba wax. And I clay bar twice a year when I do the full system on my truck

I dunno, ive not been crazy about it. I bought it for the vette, and haven't used it since. It left a blue haze on all my plastic and dont see a big difference when I use it compared to Maguiars

I havent seen any issues with mine. Although i do keep it very wet because if you dont spray enough it will start to stick. I can say I have never had a real "dirty" bar but I guess if you had no clear it would do that

yeah the gold class car wash is awesome, and it smells really good....since we are on the topic, what do you guys suggest is best for swirl marks. just got my wife a new car recently and its burgundy and it wasnt done right when the place cleaned it up. Do i need to just take some dawn and wash it next time or any recommendations.

Swirl in the paint or wax? Dawn will strip it of its wax. But I recommend a cleaner instead of dishsoap. If there's swirl or orange peel on the paint/clear coat you want to use a good clay bar such as Zaino or Meguiars systems.

orange peel will need a wetsand unfortunately. And a claybar wont get rid of the swirl. A light compound should be able to get rid of minor swirls. A good wax and a few coats of polish over that will make the truck look new again
