Default K&N 63series CAI kits..possible to loose low end tq?

Is it possible to lose low end with an open filter 63series set up vs. say,a AirAid MIT and a drop in K&N replacement panel filter? Im stuck on either the kit or MIT and panel drop in..just dont know which..

Just like your last thread here, lxman's suggestion of just going with the MIT is more than sufficient with your setup. Spending a lot of money on a CAI with a mostly stock truck & exhaust system is money down the drain for the minimal gains you'll see.

Yep. I use a Diablosport predator with my Airaid MIT, K&N drop-in and Magnaflow cat-back. Works great.

yea I'm running Superchips 91 tune and I have the drop in with the MIT. Works great, looks great, and don't have to worry about water damage or an expensive filter.

You find a seller for the Cortex yet? I'll have one for sale next week if you're interested. Just let me know.
