issues removing clutch fan need help

yeah i m turning it to the left (passenger side) im going to put some P B blaster on it and let it sit hopefully it will break loose. Me beating on this will not damage the water pump will it?

No, your WP will be fine, just be careful not to let any long bolts, etc jam into it. I think the loosening agent will help. Good luck

persistence pays off!! it will come off. the bolt needs to fit tight up against the pulley. and not have much play in it

You're welcome. So how did you finally get it off? x2 on the bolt needing to be tight and no play.

well nxt go around the board broke so i just used a bigger size bolt and board and didnt put a nut on the back of the bolt this time and just kept hitting it and then realize it was starting to unscrew lol

A Carlisle spanner will do it for you. Mine was a b!tch to remove as well.

Got it all done and now i think the flexa lite adjustable temp control switch i bought is bad. The fan will not come on at all. The fan does work i checked.
