Wanted to add my problem and solution to this.. I have 2004 5.7 Ram. I replaced calipers and hose on the right side. The caliper still would not release the pressure had to break the bleeder lose so it would move.. So I started releasing the pressure back to the master cylinder. Replaced it and the problem went away. Why it decided to be the RH side, the side furthest from the master cylinder i gave no clue

Default Right front brake looked up

You probably have the problem fixed already buy if not check where the brake hose is attached to the control arm. There is a clamp there. See if there is rust at that point. As rust builds it is cutting off the hydraulics of the brake system by squeezing the hose. You can replace the hose or unbend the clamp holding the hose and remove the hose. Scrape off the rust from the hose and clean the clamp of all rust. Work the brake pedal several times.replace the hose in the clamp (not to tight!). Your master cyl has enough press to apply the brake past the rusted tight hose but the return or release has almost no press which keeps the caliper compressed for awhile until it is not used long enough for the fluid to return to the master cyl by itself. Then everything is good until you use the brakes again. Hope this helps! Dodge clamps are known to have bad rust problems.

I bought new front calipers last year 38 bucks each..I first relubed the pins cleaned out the rust so that they slid freely but didn't solve the problem.

No. sorry, let me clarify. I tried relubing first, that didn't help so I bought new calipers. No problems since them.

Definitely try the brake hose first I had both front hoses go bad on an older truck of mine the rubber breaks down on the inside after while and causes the check valve issue
