Default Recon lights went out, lookin for some HID's

Well I bought the Recon Xenon Diamond White headlight and fog bulbs a couple months ago and 2 of the 4 bulbs have already gone out. Pretty disappointing...

I'm now looking at getting a HID kit for both my headlights and fog lights. What are some of the kits you guys are using and how many of them work without any flaws? I've heard tons and tons of HID kits having flickering issues,etc... Any advice would be very much appreciated!

-Thanks

I like my halogens
1st they last
2nd no radio interferrence
3rd just as bright on high beam
4th no worry's about flickering.
imho I would swallow my pride and go back too halo's . no problems course no white/blue or starry light either lol

Would be the cheaper route too. I like the Silverstar ULTRA's a lot. I might pick up those

Yeah i was thinking about going to HID also but with all the problems guys have been having I think I'm going to stay with my halogens... I've heard great things about Philips, Silver Star Ultra Visions.. I also heard great things about Nykon (sp) I believe that's what they are called

I have the ultras now but after parking next to cherryrams truck with his HIDs on I am convinced on changing to HIDs. His headlights put mine to shame. There is a major difference and you dont really notice until you park next to someone with them on.

yea, and their lifespan is usually around a year or so. Brighter you go, the smaller the lifespan on our halogens.

good rule of thumb I've been going around with the parking lamps and fogs on/I really like the look b/c not many vehicles can do that unless jury rigged with after market fogs Guess not a good idea with the sivers then.

What are the cons with going with HID's besides price?
