use a hard card to smooth out the bubbles. I had vinyl eyelids on mine before I swapped to paint. Now I've got new projectors so no more eyelids. Also, when that vinyl gets out in the cold, it chips off more than it peels off once you try removing it.

Hey, I wouldnt spend the time cutting them and making them fit and then something going wrong. I would just buy the ones pre made on ebay. I persontily like the dual up and down eye lids for the 06-08. Some people hate them but Im digging them. Thats what I will be getting when i buy them.

Mine are fiberglass. I had them painted when I got rid of all the chrome.

Guess i'm gonna use the lower lids too practice I'm gonna cut 3/4 inch lowers first and see what it looks like then I ,guess i'm gonna get one chance at this . i think i'll try and pre cutting a pattern first with manilla paper first then start at the apex and work my way back and down respectively with the eyelids when I get too it.
as always if you guys think of anything i missed, please let me know. If all goes well I'll post pix and get rid of that dumb tachometer. thanks again peeps.
