Default Tire inflation

Im planning on ordering my tires and rims online, and im guessing they would ship the tires deflated, as too help with the shipping cost. Somebody told me that at that size (35x12.5x20) that a regular tire pump wouldnt inflate them. Is that true or do they not know what they are talking about?

Thanks!

oh ok. no haha i dont really know what the guy was saying, but he was probably just lying to justify his cost. But if they come inflated it doesnt matter anyways.

a bike tire pump like rh said, no go man. Any other pump will work fine. I have just a little portable air pump you plug into your cig lighter and it'll pump just fine. It takes longer than my air compressor at the house of course, but it get's the job done.

ya i dont know, its because i told a guy from the shop that i was buying online and he couldnt compete with the price, so he tried to justify his by lying haha. It sounded stupid but i wanted to double check just in case. Obviously i would never try a bike pump haha.

No ****. You can fill any tire with even the smallest compressor it might just take some time. What a plug that guy is...

"We only like to fill our tires with lion farts"

if tire shops said that I honestly wouldn't be too surprised.
