Default TB Question?

Can someone tell me why air dumps out of the TB when the engine is cold? When i first start up my Ram, I can hear air dumping out of the TB. Shouldnt it be sucking air in?

Cold air is denser than warm air so the engine doesn't need as much to run. The exccess air is puked back out.

If it is dumping air then you have a big hole somewhere that the rest of us do not have. Go out there and look all around it and take a picture of where the hole is and let us know.

The air is coming out of the bottom half of the TB itself. There's a U shape that splits the upper and lower half of the TB, maybe 10 to 20 seconds air is dumping out before it stops.

Does your truck do this? So what your saying is when it gets warmer outside this dumping should stop? Ive owned a couple of trucks and never had this happen.

No man, I thought you were joking and I was just pulling your leg. As in April Fools day. Sorry... I don't have air coming from my TB.

Again, you need to take some pics of your TB because I have 4 of them and just finished porting one last night and none of mine have holes in the bottom of them
