Angry ABS and Brake light Issues

Ok Ive searched this site and cannot find a thing on this issue.
I have 2 lights coming on occasionaly on my 2007 Ram. They seem to only come on when I stop suddenly then let off the brake. Ive gone to Autozone and ran a code test and nothing was saved. I also have a code meter of my own but when the lights are on nothing comes up? I Dont think my reader is ABS compatible. The Speedometer is not acting up and brakes feel fine. Any suggestions? I know with this code multiple things can be the cause.. But where to start? I can go for weeks with nothing but then they go off every time i drive but go away after the truck sits for a little while not running? Odd.....

This is funny this just happened to me this past weekend. I was hauling about 400-500bls of mulch in the bed and the same lights came on, but no different feel in the truck. The brakes worked fine and everything. As soon as I unloaded everything the lights went off and Ive never seen them since. I have to change my oil and rotate my tires this weekend so Ill be on the look out and check all the plugs. It confused me to

I am having the EXACT same problem on mine. It seems to be very random too. I pulled a code out and got (P0572). I have noticed that when the lights are on the dash that my brake lights are lit even with my foot not on the pedal. Now heres where it gets tricky! The tail lights on the bed stay on but the third light on the cab does not. When i hit the brake pedal the third light on the cab comes on and the bed lights stay lit. When i let off the bed lights stay on and the cab light goes off. I am thinking its the brake switch thats connected to the pedal but not sure. Does this sound just like what you get? ALSO, it makes my cruise control not work!!

Check the speed sensor on the rear axle, or check all the abs sensors and make sure they are clean

this sounds like the mechanical switch by the foot pedal that is faulty causing the lights to stay on and the cruise too be off/must be a diferent circuit for the cab light however.which seems to be fine anyway

cruise control not working would be a brake issue too.. i never checked it. My guess is the computer is thinking the brake is depressed shutting off the cruise control.. maybe ill look at the brake switch first.. Not sure of the cost but its a start?

I believe it doesn't affect the speedometer.. Someone else will chime in.. I had the same problem, ended up being just a dirty abs sensor
