big difference. You have a SFA. RJFF has the IFS version, 2.5in. Everyone likes the HBS one so why pay more I guess

ReadyLift is the most expensive brand out there. I guess they sell enough to stay in business, but they are crazy for what they charge. They are all basically the same. The ReadyLift does not offer anything different than any other brand other than their name. And their name is only what you make of it. They are the most sold brand of leveling kit at 4x4 shops. There is no reason at all to buy their kit over cheaper brands though.

Yeah, that is a big difference. That is what I love about DF, I learn something new about my truck every time I log on. Thanks much!!

The ready lift comes with bump stops for the front. this ensures you dont have any premature wear on your ifs drive line. it hits the top control arm and stops the wheel from traveling farther downward.
I dont know why they charge so much. maybe better materials or maybe they just sucker people like me.
in all seroisness if youre just going for the look and the occasional off road adventure, get the cheap one.

Hey HH06, did they add-a-leaf stiffen your ride that much? I thought about adding one myself because I pull a 35' fifth wheel toy hauler but a lot of people told me it would ride terrible unloaded and that I should go with air bags. When I bought the truck I couldn't believe how well it rides for a 1-ton 4x4.

I havent noticed any stiffening. I dont know what it would do to a 1 ton but on mine it seems pretty smooth. you might want to see if you can get a long spring add a leaf. for mine there were two options. a long and a short. the guy said the short wouldnt ride as good but it was about 50 bucks more. i got the short.
You might need to get new shocks afterwards also. im still running stockers but ill be getting rancho 5000s this summer. right now my rear end is about 3 inches taller than stock so the shocks arent doing a whole lot of good.
