It couldn't hurt to clean it out. Pick up some non-chlorinated brake parts cleaner and a rag. You have to take of the intake and then there are 4 bolts holding it in place. Just hose it down with the cleaner and wipe it clean with the rag. just make sure to calibrate the tps when you're all finished.

TPS= Throttle Position Sensor. Im not 100% sure if that needs to be calibrated. I do know that its is not necessary on the Hemi throttle body.

If I'm thinking of the right thing you just turn the ignition on (don't start it), slowly press the pedal to the floor, hold it there for 10 seconds, slowly let off the pedal, then turn off the ignition.

I'm not sure if you need to do it with the 4.7, but the hemi def needs it if you were opening and closing the valve while cleaning it. You just turn the key to run without starting the motor and once all the lights go out slowly press the gas pedal all the way to the floor then let it all the way back up. When I cleaned my TB the rpms would jump up real quick and then fall really slow, recalibrating fixed it right up.
