New mod, bought this one though...
Yeah I'm neutral on the subject. Our country has a pretty ****ed gun control system. It basically uses tax dollars to do **** all. I really am not a huge advocate of guns but if the criminals can still get a hold of guns and commit crimes easily with them then might as well make it easier for the average Joe tax paying citizen to responsibly own arms. I love our country and the benefits we get as well as our standard of living but some stuff is so god damned backwards it would make your head spin Hammer.
Yeh Times have changed, when i was a boy I would ask Dad if I could take out my Gun cause I was goin in the woods and he would say be careful son. Now I have a licence to possess them, which is one step closer to loosing them. Safety is for sure Paramount, so that set-up looks real nice, secure and practical Hammer. Being an Ammunition Technician by trade I can say I love all Weapons and Ammo as it keeps us in Business, takes care of the Bad Guys as required and helps keep us safe.
Man that sucks about Canada. I could never live there. My theory is if I have to have a permit that means at any second the government can take my guns which to me means game over. I love being able to go to a store and say I want that one, do a little background check, and I am off on my marry way with my new firearm in stow. Gun shows are even better. Show the seller your I.D., give him his money, and walk out the door with a barely used 12 gauge pistol grip shotgun
I would love to get a rack but I dont want to lose my 12"s behind the seat and I also don't want a back window rack because I might lose the sliding window. Regular cabs sure can have their down sides.

Illegal? In what way? and it doesn't have to be hunting season and they DO NOT have to be unloaded.
Might be illegal in some damn flaming a$$ liberal places, but not where I'm from.
I am a certified hunting and handgun safety instructor, trust me, I know the laws regarding firearms...

You should know about NY then?? Long guns cant be loaded and Encon will give you loads of crap if you even have a loaded clip in the rifle case. I usually carry the clips in my fanny pack rather than in the case.
Rifles can be hidden or visible within a vehicle and can be in there all year round as long as you are a resident of NYS although it may cause tensons given certain circumstances.
Here's a list of the local laws within the US

NYS was bad when I lived there, but I was able to obtain a CC permit with no problem, although having a step dad who was a police chief probably didn't hurt.
You should see Illinois though, poor RH can't carry, no permit for CC there.
Down here in the south, hell, I walk into my bank to cash a check with my .44 magnum Redhawk on my hip and nobody even looks twice...

Being from Indiana, you don't see that many guns (visibly on a person). I moved to Phoenix in 2000, and it was a complete shock to see all of the holsters and handguns. In the first week I was there, I went to Blockbuster to rent a movie, and I remember the guy behind me in line had a pistol on his hip... "why don't you go before me sir?". It was weird at first!

I love how pretty much every guy has a plan for when this or something like it happens lol.
I live in Canada and the gun laws are F****** retarted. Hopefully they get rid of the long gun registry that's being discussed this summer... that's one step in the right direction.... Hopefully next they move onto our restricted weapons and other weapons classified as prohibited and let us use the fun toys without all the paperwork and b/s..... lol.
