Default Need help HID question...

whats up guys, hey when I bought this truck it already had HID's on it..Im not sure what kind they are or anything, but anyway yesterday I went out to take it for a drive and it was dark so I turned the lights on and noticed they were not coming on.... So i get out of the truck go look at them and they are kind of like pulsating... Like kinda flickering , both sides at the same time... I noticed when I bought the truck it had a bunch of diodes in the glove box. Could that be the issue? Any help would be appreciated..

there are lots of threads on this but we are assuming you do not have resistors on the HID harness already. What are the numbers on the resistors?

I took the resistor off the drivers side and its all burnt up.. I cant get any numbers on it.. I went to radioshack and they said they need to know the omes... Otherwise he wont sell it because he doesnt want to start a fire... So how can I figure that out...? Its a pretty big resistor, its about 3 inches by 3/4.....

I'd assume the resistors needed are 20w.

These are the ones in my truck on my HIDs. The 6ohms will work fine.
