Vararam installed
It was less painful than I thought is was going to be. Not to bad if you take your time
I have a VaraRam on my 06, and its GARBAGE, its cheaply made and it fell apart. It is literally made out of thin plastic with plastic rivets. Im going to replace it. You can't do ANY offroading with it, because it will suck up water if you go through any deep enough. I've had to remove it several times and clean the mud out. ALSO, if I have to do any work to the motor, I just take the intake off by default because its so massive....why the hell did I buy it? it did look good on the website...and the promises of more power, which I couldn't feel any, did entice me. Just a note for everybodys think tanks, DON'T buy this intake for 400+ bucks, go get a programmer or a Summit CAI and save some money.
sorry for the scathing post...I had to vent.

LOL!!! to each his own andrew. You seem to be the 1st person I have seen complain about it. But if you knew you were gonna want to do off roading to begin with then why buy it. It shows you were the tubes sit at on the site.
I guess I never put one and one together, can I just say I was deployed when I bought it and say thats a good enough excuse? The intake in the bumber is a pretty sweet idea, for 2wd guys, I just think that Vararam should have used something other than cheap wire tubing for the intake tubes, something that could be modified to drain water out.
Alright man I will give it to you, and thank you for what you do as well! Have u thought about possibly running a snorkel setup on you truck. Just a thought. I have been pondering on how to possibly run something like that on mine so that I can run it a little more off road with out having to worry about to much water intake from the tubes.
