black with red star would look sick....like the ones you get with black r.stars....

I think I would like to keep the star chrome, has anyone tried chrome spray paint or is that stuff crap. Also what about the fake bolts red or black?

try the chrome spray with a red star. if that doesnt work then red with the black star

IMO that chrome spray paint is crap. It'll come out lookin like silvers truck NOT chrome. I'd go red with a black star and red bolt caps all the way around. Lke you said you've got nothing to lose at this point.

I've seen that spray can chrome on diff covers. The thinking is , It's too far away to really get close so the color stands out, Too be honest i'm thinking of doing mine with the rattle can. It's a cover that I'm not gonna clean every week so here comes the paint. imo.

Someone used the center cap of the rockstars on my old ford. Broke off like it was made of styrofoam. It came out at like $55 or 60 for the one cap AND took 6 months to get in. For such popular and fairly expensive rims they did not work too hard on the cap.

And I dont think you will be able to buff it out. Mine were black so I didnt really have that problem, but its cheap. I think the color matched circle with a black star would be pretty cool, someone needs to photochop it

paint them black on red! As said before! star black cap red! The chrome paint is crap, its a ghetto way for people with chitty old cars to have fake chrome for super cheap.
