I'm a newbie but how ofter is recommended to clean the throttle body? tnks

I'm not sure on a exact millage/time but its not needed very often i do mine if i'm pulling it off for some other reason,

i just did mine a couple off weeks ago and i have under 25,000 and it pretty dirty but nothing like some of the pics that i have seen.

I just cleaned mine at 30,000 miles. Mine has had an airraid filter in it since almost new and the throttle body was pretty clean. For me I'll clean it every 30,000 at spark plug changes. It wouldn't hurt to do it sooner though if your driving conditions warrant. It also pretty easy to get to so not much harm in doing it more frequently than me.

make sure you do it proper and pull it off to clean out the backside of the butterfly. don't spray anything into it while installed you will get it down into your intake manifold

When you clean your air filter it wont hurt to clean the TB also.
