Default 2006 xterra vs. ram 1500 truck pull?

my friend believes his 2006 2wd nissan xterra will beat mine in a truck pull cuz he has like 265 hp and my 2007 ram 1500 QC 2wd has 235 hp. i say no contest the ram has more low-end torque and will drag that xterra, or the two will just sit there tires spinning since theyre both 2wd, but what do yall say?

I think you will start pulling him even with the brakes on (which he will do when he starts coming your way)

Horsepower isnt as big of a deal in small time truck pulls. Your tires have alot more grip and your trucks power/balance is meant for pulling...his is meant for parking in cities and running the kids to soccer practice

make your tow point as high as you can get it, like flipping your receiver hitch over so it's higher. This will move the "pull" further up above your axle, which should increase your rear wheel weight transfer when the tow line loads up..
