unless you got a huge washer small hole than thats gotta go thats barley grounding no surface coverage....either grind that more so the whole eye is touching and put a washer on it or get new eyes the proper size...

ill second what jay said. use the correct size eye. the one you are using is for a huge bolt and 10-12awg wire. or you can try to run it without a relay. thats what i did when i ran the 12awg wire and 100w bulbs. works great.

replaced that freakin glass tube fuse holder with a blade fuse holder and it works great, no heat issues at all. I don't know what was up.

You guys are on the right track. Bigger power and ground wires. Better ground connections with PROPER terminals and checking all the connections. He is lucky he doesnt burn his truck to the ground

No faith? I was just tryin to make a quick fix today and figure out the big problem, I never even turn em on anyway lol. If you say I need to upgrade wiring I'll upgrade the wiring, and I know the grounds are redneck as hell but I couldn't find any smaller ring terminals in this freakin tiny town.

So what size wire and relay are you running right now? What size fuse did you replace the old one with? If you have a walmart nearby, you can get everything you need there. Or a lowes, home depot, or any other hardware/stereo/auto store out there.

I think once you upgrade the wiring and fuse you will be ok.
