Ryan, I assume you are talking about the grill since your upper bumper is already painted. I bought a paintable grill from eBay and had it painted at a local shop. My truck is the base model (SXT) with upgrades added.

Good luck...

Since you want to lower the rear I would take the nerf bars off, and sell them to start with your mods. Good luck hope it all works out for you.

It's a good looking truck either way..... Just depends on what YOUR preference is. Apparently you like it w/out the nerf bars. I'd take the 1500 off of the doors as a start.

Yes, I was talking about the grill. I will look into buying a paintable one. Has anyone had problems with the paint being darker behind the badges? I took the SLT off of the tailgate and you could see what looked like the shadow where the paint was faded behind the badge.

you might try using some rubbing compound and a good buff and wax.

I watersanded with 2000 grit, cut with diamond cut compound, and polished with dual action. It still did not work... I guess I'm stuck with badges.

If you're gonna lower it then definately lose the bars, If you're gonna get a level for the front then keep'em, you'll be glad you did.

Beauti! Nerfs look good. Chrome polished Gas Cap Cover, and agree with Tint and do something with the grill, love those Daisy "Whatever" they call them Rims too.
