Talking Go Rhino Light Bar installed

Got my light bar installed today had to improvise a little so that it would work with the tonneau cover that I have but I like the way it turned out. hat to lift it about 2 inches and now the lights are over the truck and you can still see my 3rd brake light. I only have 2 lights up there but will get another 2 this summer and install them also.

Here is how I lifted it up the 2 inches I needed right now it is painted but latter this summer I will get it powder coated.

Have to go give her a bath and then will get some more photo's of the whole truck.

Looks great man!

I've always wanted a light bar like that, but have ALWAYS had a tool box in every truck I've owned and really need to have one. I carry recovery gear, tools and even gas welding stuff and have nowhere else to put it. I hate the cheazy ones that mount on the roof to the rain channels.

Somebody needs to come up with one that would work with an over the lip toolbox and I'd jump on it!

If I could TIG worth a sh*t I'd get some diamondplate and make or modify a box with channels in the two corners up against the back wall for routing a light bar (or even stacks for diesel guys). But I can only gas, stick and mig weld.

IMO you just can't beat the look of a lifted 4x4 with a light bar in the bed...

Thanks I really like the way it turned out. I ordered it from autoanything.com for 216.99 with free shipping and got it in 4 days. I still need to do the wiring for the lights gonna run one wire up for power and one for ground. I still have to figure out where I want to mount a switch for the lights.

Awesome that I found this thread. I just ordered the bar and I was trying to figure out how to get it taller. So that is some kind of bracket that it's bolted to? I wonder where I can find that.

I made it out of 1 1/2" flat stock steel welded and painted black.

I've been eying the stainless version of this for a while. I was thinking I would find one after I finally managed to find a grill guard. I've always said you can never have to many lights!
