Default truck acting up

So i go to start the ram and it sounded luke the battery was bad. Then it started fine. Looked at the jnstrument cluster, check gauges light was on. Battery had full power, gas gauge said i had 1/4 left...but im actually on empty. Now gas gauge is reading normal but check gauges is still on and every few startups it soundslike its not going to turn over but it does. Anyone know whars up? 2007 1500 slt qc

Either your battery is not holding a charge and/or your alternator isn't charging properly. I'd go to a local auto parts store and have them test your battery and alternator.
Starters draw lots of juice, so that will show a weak battery. I'd guess battery, hopefully, as it's the easiest fix.

Use THIS site if you are handy with a meter.

Also might wanna check for corrosion on your starter cable or ground.
