Here's the one I installed along with a 180 thermostat. Fairly easy install. Wiring straight forward. I have mine set to come on at 195 and it very seldom comes on unless I'm setting in traffic. I installed mine to free up a few ponies. Good luck...

yep, the Flex-A-Lite is the one I got. I thought installation was a breeze, AFTER I stopped the bleeding and made a jig to get my damn clutch fan off!

and I beg to differ with you, Rocket. 3300 CFM even at idle kicks the sh*t out of a clutch fan. I used to sit in heavy traffic on I95 in Fla. and watch the damn needle climb. Now the needle sits right at about 10:30 no matter what the traffic or heat of the day is like.
I am thinking about a manual over-ride switch now though, I kinda like the idea of being able to cut it off temporarily if I get into some heavy mud or am crossing a bit of water. Thisaway, I ain't suckin crap into the radiator fins to have to clean out...

For off road trucks that would be a good idea as the fan will not like running submerged.

I'd never let it get that deep, but I always seem to manage to hit a good size hole, even going 5-10 mph and it may only be 2' deep, but it will splash sticky, red, Ga. clay mud all over the front end and the fan ends up sucking it in and gunking up the radiator, which is a b*tch to clean, not to mention terribly inefficient for cooling...

Hammer, I was more refering to the blades hitting water, but there are pictures on the forum where the truck is running damn deep. But I know what you mean. The switch is a good idea...

I just went out and measured. You're right.
