LOOK PLUS, they are able to be squished, airbags don't squish at all if you throw in the correct amount of air.
Bags will keep your ride perfectly level and they don't change the ride quality as much as those bushing things you linked us to. Those are a really stiff *** hopping around ride just like add-a-leafs
Yeah, I guess that makes sense. I did have a pair installed in my Dakota, and it had no sag when I had the trailer hooked up, but you're right, the ride was a little like having wooden wheels!!

well i be waiting for the big brown truck to arrive, I went ahead and I am prepping the truck for the bags

i d-loaded the instructions and i got 1 quick question are these things REAL critical on measurements....

I emptied out my bed and measured the ride height from the center of the wheel to the edge of wheel well and got approx 23 inches....I removed the wheels and put the truck on jack stands and I am coming up with 22-1/2" on 1 side of truck and 22-1/4" on the other side of the truck

i am on pretty level ground also..... any input will be great

scratch everything i just said I got it where i want it now......

You need to keep some air in them or they will rub and get damaged. I think the specs call for 5 lbs. minimum. I keep about 10 in mine...

yea 5 psi is the minimum. I run 10-15lbs just to be safe.

Now put about 40# of air in them and hook up to your trailer with a load on it. Snap a pic and compare to this one...

man now that i look at it maybe i should have mounted the bracket lower so the air bag would have room to expand up when i inflate it? right now i am at the top of the frame rail.....and i know its to late now but i should have stacked my air lines on top of each other instead of on either side of the plate
