Default Smoking out 06 ram headlights?

Ok first off these things are ugly, as you can see if my sig. If it wasnt for my HID's i wouldnt have them. I wish i could afford a 07-08 set because they look alot cleaner. So i have been thinking about using a couple coats of VHT niteshades on the side and bottom amber portion. and Then i have been thinking about doing the whole headlight but i still want to see at night. What would you recommend?

Yeah i have thought about pulling them apart and spraying the housing too but it was like the last resort. I'm just afraid i'll break something in the process.

painting the inside gives it a cleaner look.plus you still keep 100% of the light output.

yea it aint too big of a deal. Aiden just did it (and then didnt bolt them in going down the road) and got it done.

I would actually trade you lights. You have that flat strip at the bottom and can buy a set of $25 strip LEDs and put them in. Black out the amber strip, run your wires from the LED strip through it and hook it up. The LED strip will stay on with running lights and flash with your turn signals.

That doesnt look bad at all. I may talk myself into doing it soon. Maybe the wife wont think I've gone crazy when she finds me baking a headlight in the oven lol

Spray a line over the bottom stripe, and spray pain a eye lid. They wont even look the same.

I've seen worse, I just did mine, eyelids and lower vinyls, I suppose I can get away with it b/c I'm pretty much blacked out too begin with, check out these pix on this thread, when I did mine. This is the look you are looking for, btw and imo.
