Default RPM increase and then decrease problem ?

So If I am stopped at a light or even if I put it in park My truck will idle at around 500rpms but then it will rev to about 1000rpm then back to 500.. then to 1000 and back to 500. Any ideas ? I have an 03 4.7 CAI, Flowmaster, and Superchip tuner.

that makes more sense, a vacuum leak would only be aprox 100 rpm or so difference.

Now last night it was only jumping up about 200 rmps. It may be a vacuum leak since the CIA is only a few months old. I thought I put it on nice and snug but when it comes to intakes I've had my fair share of vacuum leaks coming from the craziest places. I am going to take it to my buddies shop this weekend and put it on the machine and see what it pulls up.

your air intake won't cause a vacuum leak
have you tried calibrating your TPS?
