So as a few of you know I plan to airbrush some smoke to seperate the two lines on the truck. Inside the smoke will be hidden skulls or any other neat ideas you guys might throw at me. I figured now is the time to do it as roughly 1000 bucks of it will be covered by someone elses insurance I'm unsure how its going to look tho so I was hoping for some opinions on my idea.

Basically the grey will be the area that is airbrushed. where it spreads on the door is where the skulls will be. Any other ideas?

(The chrome front bumper is coming off this weekend also so I don't need that opinion again lol)

 

maybe with the skulls airbrushed mopar logo and/or hemi or something like that

 

Im thinking a bald eagle, wrapped in the american flag, spreading his wings over a 426 hemi, while grasping a piston in one foot, plug wires in another, and rams head in its beak.

IMO, The Idea of smoke with skulls is pretty hard to beat and honestly would not look outta place with your colour scheme. Rams heads woundn't do or even mix with skulls would they. Your not doing anything on tailgate?

I am sure you'll make the right call, and it will look awesome.

 

I am planning to follow the scheme all around the truck. I plan on doing a ram head skull on the tailgate just as something I've never seen done before but to keep with the dodge theme.

I really liked the eagle thing but a) an american flag doesn't really suit a canadian truck and B) an eagle would not suit smoke at all

 

Mopar6spd is just real patriotic. We got lots of Bald Eagles in the Maritimes and its foggy down there, but we're in Rattler Country out here, but seriously I was thinking yes to blending it into something in the tailgate would give it a cool rear stance.

Something like that would flow with the paint scheme pretty awesome or you can stick more with the smoke and make the skull fade out a little more like this:

I was looking at a bunch of different skulls and smoke and flames. Definetely gonna stick with the smoke and skulls but it's just a matter of whether I use it as a pinstripe or make it it's own paint design. I booked it into the bodyshop for monday so I got the weekend to think about it (which is great cause the trucks in a car show sunday so I can get some ideas there)

I'm surprised nobody has tried to talk me out of it yet lol.
