yep, if you are handy at all I'd suggest you make your own CAI it'll flow just as much CFM as any you'd buy. Name brand ones are $300, ebay ones are around $100 and are hit and miss as far as falling apart on you or the filter quality.

I made this one a few weeks ago for a member. $9 in PVC, $4 in paint, $10 in boot and clamps and $35 for a very high quality K&N filter.

yup like hammer said , hear is mine ...getting rid of the restrictive hemi hat is the key , the other is to have the straighest line to the TB . i used 3"pvc and kept the stock air box dropped in a k&n . i kept the stock box because i drive threw some crap while hunting and didnt want water ect in the filter then in the engine .

It's actually the "HEMI" hat over the TB that you wanna get rid of. It's a resonator so you can't hear the damn EGR valve fluttering open and closed. It is restrictive as hell...

Did they get rid of the PCV valve on the HEMI also?? I took off my TB to clean it yesterday and everywhere I've read says the PCV valve is supposed to be right next to it. Mine has nothing, only 2 plugs.

To the OP and anybody else thats curious...
The reason Flowmasters are called Blowmasters or why people usually do not recommend Flowmaster is because of the way they are designed. They are for sound, not performance. I originally had the Flowmaster 40 series and switched to Magnaflow 40 series for 2 reasons, they tend to rust very easily (mine was completed rusted out) and I was tired of the drone.
In this chart from one of Hammer's threads it compares Flowmaster's "flow" to other mufflers (except for Magnaflow).

Hope this clears up a few things.

No drone with my 50's (the reason why I got them. look you get what you pay for. Iknow they will rust, so does every muffler I ever had on a vehicle. jmho.
