i just purchased a 06 1500 4.7L Ram..my dream truck..first real nice used car for more then 2k haha..but i was wondering..i wanna do some things to it..

i wanna make it quicker..maybe some flow masters or something..what should i do?

 

Big three mods should be first. All are relatively inexpensive and easy to install.

1) Tuner 2) CAI or better flowing drop in 3) cat back exhaust.

and the Flowmaster should be called "slow" master, they don't flow any better than stock...

I refer to them as blowmasters!. They rust out and restrict performance! Magnaflow all the way!

 

CAI = make one , just as good as a 300 dollar job but for only 30 bucks . make it a custom and drop in a good filter like a k&n

tunner = superchips or diablo both pretty much the same . all plug in play .

exhaust= anything but rustmasters . i like cherry bomb as do most guys .

rule of thumb ....more air in and better flow out = HP and a stain in your pants
