So my truck has a y pipe with cats no mufflers.... Inspection is comming up soon so i have to get a set of mufflers..... I love the sound of Flowmaster super 40 series... But also read on here the cheery bomb extreme was nice to.... so for performance and sound wise, which is the best mufflers to go with. My buddy has a magnaflow bullet on his truck and loves it... I just want a deep sound that is decently loud but not to loud like my straights.. any info on any exhaust would be appreciated...

 

i love my magnaflow. i know a lot of people on here have had rust problems with their flowmaster and the performance gains are crap. but my buddy has a cherry bomb glasspack on his f150 and he loves it too so its up to you

 

if you were closer, my buddy has 2 flowmaster 40 series mufflers for sale.

For sure the cherry bomb extreme. It's not as "open" as the glasspack but sounds awesome from idle to wot.

 

Magnaflow, borla, corsa.

Don't buy blowmaster.

 

I dont think he had them on anything....I will ask him about them. He said he wants 85 for both of them, but he would take 70.

i agree with the cherry bomb , i didnt think i would like it but hammer convinced me so i got one and wow !!! beats the old mag hands down

 

Thanks RH will def. look into it.. im still young so i still need it loud haha but that cracking and poping of the straights just gets annoying
