so wiring up the compressor, straight to the power source or did you use a relay? and two gallons, how much is that good for blast wise? like a good three second blast or more?
I used a relay. I'm in the process of uploading a video to Youtube with a 10 second blast. It starts to lose power but its still nice and loud.

It's not too bad of a reach, its not right in front of you but still quickly accessible.

Hah, well it seemed to be working for you and I couldn't figure out a better place to put them! Though I eliminated the need for those fancy brackets you made up and eliminated the need for a separate bracket for the horns.
what did you use as the bottom plate? and how did you mount it to the truck
36" x 6" x 1/4" piece of steel, you could probably get away with 1/8th inch or so. I used four 12" long 3/8" diameter threaded rod, eight lock nuts, 16 washers, and four 1.5" steel spacers. I originally had 8" 3/8" bolts but I needed an extra half inch and couldn't find any longer bolts in 3/8". It just bolts through the holes that are in the frame from the factory. I'm not sure what they're for, maybe just vent holes.
Yup, those are the ones. The video they posted with the ad made them sound deeper than they really are but they're alright since they do come with the electric air valve which will cost you at least $25 if you buy it separate.
