Thanks for all the responses, 203 degree's it is. Have many of you had your radiator start leaking from the plastic sides. Mine started leaking at about 70,000 miles. Thanks again

Yep very common.
I had mine go out at 77,000 miles on my 03.

130,000 miles here, no problems like that on my 04.........yet.

Yep, hotter also keeps sludge from building up. Stock is best!!

Wow, everything was sounding good until lxman said "hot engine keeps sludge away". I was thinking of e-fan and 180 stat especially down here in central texas. And if not e-fan maybe flex fan if I can ever find an adapter that will work. I'm really not a fan of the fan clutch. 96k right now was looking fwd to 180 stat, dont know now is/will it be worth it?

Frequent short runs without the engine operating fully warmed up can cause sludge no matter what thermostat. I live 18 miles from town. I also contribute these full warm-ups to my Fowmaster still being good after 6 years of use.

damn DUDE!!!! how can u stand it that cold outside!!! hahaha but yea in WV we got a total of 9 feet of snow fall this year and i live on top of a mountain and for about 3 weeks, with windchill it was -33 degrees outside at night and around -5 to 0 during the day
