It would be noticeable but I wouldn't be expecting Turbo type results. The biggest thing is to get rid of the restrictive "hat" covering the throttle body.
and getting rid of the flowmaster . the name is all wrong many will tell you it flows no better than stock , just sounds ok . more air in and out the better the results.
well hold on a sec rh yes it is restrictive but not as much as a stock muffler. also don't forget you are shlt canning the resonator at the tailpipe. All told you get a decent, not a perfect, but decent mod for the money. (and it only lasts three years)
There are a lot of places that sell good paint for that kind of application, auto zone, advanced auto parts,etc... the most important thing though is make sure it is rated as high heat up to at least a couple hundred degrees. that way it does not catch fire or flake off.
i like my intake setup it works well and was under a 100 my blowmaster sucks yes it sounds ok but i got a good deal on it so i took it, now im looking at a cb extreme in about 2 mths...its less resrictive and flows better....
