Like was said before. Those rims look like late 80's early 90's style. I think I saw that second one on a beat up astro van yesterday. Go on tirerack.com or tire.com and look at those rims. On tirerack you can pull up your truck with the proper color and see what the rim will look like on her truck. They often have specials on rims too.

 

I have the American Eagle 197's I think is the model, but in black with chrome center caps in 17"s I am thinking about replacing them check them out on the website they are pretty nice

Just show her a bunch of pictures and tell her to pick something else. Took me over a month to decide but I finally pulled the trigger bout 20min ago.

 

They're not bad, but I wouldn't own them. At least she didn't pick wheels that look like yours. LOL

I didn't know the 118's were so old, I had never seen them before. Well, back to the wheel catalogs.

So op did you change your ladys mind on the wheels? There are a wide variety of wheels that look really nice on our Ram, luckely you're in a great place here to see some beautiful trucks. Put this site on and give her thoe comp.

 

I have her looking at some more catalogs. Hopefully she'll find something this week. My new tires came in this last week, so she's gonna have to hurry up and find something so she can put my old 33's on her truck.

 

Well she finally picked out a set of wheels and they look pretty good on her truck. She went with Zoom T83's not bad for $115 each. Finally got my tires put on also, here's some pics of both trucks:

 

You're a good man, defending the ol lady no matter how bad her taste is (that won't a cheapshot, mine loves my AK, but wants a pink one, Im in the same boat as you, haha)

What ya'll ended up with looks pretty close to those AE's. Not too bad really, looks good with the tires. Yours on the other hand, very very nice. Those 3/4's are so much more......bigger maybe, than our 1500's. I'm taking a guess that you're leveled at least? Both trucks are nice as hell though, the wife does have fine tastes in trucks

Edit: I just noticed your truck is a MC, that explains why it looks so much bigger, haha.
