I'm having a heck of a time finding a set of wheels for the wife's '07 1500. She's just too darn picky. She really likes the American Eagle Alloy 118 and 203, but everyone says they are back-ordered for 1-2 months. I need them in 17x8 if anyone has a set they want to part with.

I couldnt find any 203's but I found some 118's on ebay for you. Not sure if they will have 5x5.5 bolt pattern.

Thanks, but I already tried him and 1 other ebay seller. The both have them listed, but can't get them and believes they are discontinued, but he said he can't get a straight answer from Eagle.

 

Sounds like they may be discontinued. Your high maintenance wife may have to just be a little less picky... LOL...

 

And yet they still have them listed....I f'in hate that about Ebay. Should be against the rules to list something you don't have or can't get but they want their money....

Those are a bit old school anyways. Like late 80's-mid 90's was when those bottom ones were popular. The top one's I have seen on nothing but late 80's style camaro's & fireterds
I'll admit, I'm a bit oldschool in some of my ways too, but I agree with Hammer....Gotta tell the lady to be less picky.

Have her pick 5 sets and write them in order of what she likes the most and go right down the list. There's gotta be something out there.


Also, the wheel world is NOT what it was just 5yrs ago. Lots of dropped wheels from production to cut cost as nobody is super craze about buying wheels like they used to due to the lovely economy.

That's funny, high maintenance, I'm pretty lucky she never buys anything for herself , just the kids and when she finally does want to spend a little on herself the only thing she wants are all discontinued.

 

Tell her to consider this.... if she ever has a need for a replacement wheel she'll be SOL,maybe pick a wheel that will be readily available for a few years to come?

 

I think those 203's are straight up terrible looking
