How to change sparks
yep, it's always good to have someone to teach you. I was lucky in that my grandfather and uncle were mechanics by trade and my father worked a second job in a garage for years when I was growing up. Hell, when I was just a yonker, my old man and uncle worked saturdays at a local track on a stock car crew.
I HATED working on cars when I was in my teens, was kinda like being forced to eat liver! But by the time I hit my early 20s, I loved it and found that just tinkering with my trucks and Jeeps was a good stress reliever from working in the technology field that I went into.
As far as the plugs go, they are indeed a bi*ch compared to most other vehicles. The rear two are knuckle busters to be sure. But with a little patience and the right adapters for your socket set, they are doable.
IMO go with the standard, inexpensive Champions. There has been no evidence to show me that the "premium" plugs give any benefit in this engine. With 30k recommended changes regardless of plug type, the Champions will hold up just fine. Now in an engine that recommends 100k changes, like the 4.7 HO in my Jeep, then there would be a great benefit to a "premium" platinum type plug, as a matter of fact, according to the manual for a 4.7 HO, they ARE REQUIRED. But for the Hemi, nope...
