Why should I buy a Ram 1500 over a F-150?

RE: Why should I buy a Ram 1500 over a F-150?
i have 05 hemi ram with 600 miles and it is awsome....i looked at and drove them all for over 6 months. as far as im concerned ford is spelled with two F's. their engineers are complete and total idiots...im referencing my experience with my 88 f-150. ram and titan are by far the best products out there followed by the tundra and ford and chevy are not even close... this is all coming from a die hard chevy guy! dodge has the edge in performance, paint and over all appearance. even my kids have noticed the ford owners checkin out our dodge...its funny when they see you look back they turn their like its no big deal. and one clown in a tricked out f-150 decided he wanted a taste of my bone stock hemi...lets just say he got a taste but i got the dessert. I beat him by a whole truck length in about a 1/8th sprint.
i urge you to drive a loaded up titan, tundra and dodge you will have no trouble making a decision. also the dodge boys will had you back $3k cash or fin. @ 0%-60.
im a very happy dodge owner but will always wonder about the titan i walked away from

I dont think that the question should be ford or dodge it should be Nissan or Dodge. The titan is a very good truck and has much more power then it competition(Ram excluded). But when it is all said and done i think that dodge makes the best truck.

Do what we did (we went chevy vs dodge):
go to the non-dodge dealer, take a truck for a test drive, Play a little hard with it, go up hills at high speed, take high speed turns, whip it around a parking lot, judge the road noise, then see what kind of noises and rattles and power it makes. now do the same thing with the dodge. It was night and day to us. And do it in different trucks to get a general idea of them in general.

I drove the F-150 before and after buying my Ram, and I'm positively sure that I have made the right decision. The GM POOPY was never a contender since they have produced the same basic POS for the last what, 10 years.

I was chatting with my neighbor last nght he was was telling me about his, and his brothers Chevys, and how they smoke Hemi's all the time. I'm not sure why year Z71 his brother has but I'm guessing 2-3 years old with the biggest V8 they offer in the 1500. I said no way you're brother is smoking the Hemi... He said "all the time man". I said "humm". Then he went on to telling me how his reg cab z71 beat the Chevy SS. His is an older pickup with the 5.7 chevy used to make. I said does that guy know how to drive his truck? Come on, all wheel drive with over 340 hp vs an old 5.7?
I'm having a hard time beliving his funny story. Maybe I'll get the dodge and tow him around the block a few times.

Well a regular cab anything should beat a Chevy SS, it weighs like 500 lbs more. They shouldn't even be considered the same class to race in.

Are you sure? According to the motortrend test below the SS is faster at almost any distance.
