Question Intake tick issue

Alright well I thought I had a problem with a rocker popping but maybe that isn't it. It has a semi rough idle with the CEL on so I took my truck to get an OBD scan and I got P0385 which for some reason it was giving me an #8 misfire. I thought p0308 was #8 anyways. I replaced all the spark plugs and the coil for cylinder #8. CEL is now gone but now I have this loud ticking noise inside my intake. Hopefully you guys could please help me figure this out so I can get my truck back on the road thanks guys. Here is a video to maybe help with the issue.

Moved this into your own thread.
That sure made quite the mess huh???..lol
I believe the sound is just echoing inside your intake which leads me to believe that you have possible valve noise??
Aluminum also echoes noise so if you have bottom end noise it can work it's way up to the top.
Hopefully someone can better assist that knows the 4.7's a little better than myself.

Have you pulled the valve covers and visually checked everything?

yeah and both valve covers were okay... as you may have seen I removed the right valve cover and everything was fine. Don't know what else to look for

I don't know 4.7 engines. But an old chevy trick for finding valve problems was to push down on the rocker arm using a glove at idle and sometimes you could feel a sticky valve or loose rocker as that rocker would either feel different or have a slight slap. Obiviously the noise is not normal. Keep at it and let us know what you find. Good luck..
