Default Just an Idea/thought

If someone was to do a straight axle swap on the front of a 1500, would they be able to pull off a CTD swap???? Or is it not possible because of other factors besides the front suspension???? I know it would be extremely costly and your better off just buying a 2500/3500 CTD.... I have no interest in doing the motor swap......But this was just something I was thinking about randomly..

you would have to do some serious fabbing to make it work, the motor mounts would obviously have to be custom. The Cummin's puts out more torque than a 1500 frame was ever intended for, for example the SRT-10 frame is beefed up like you wouldn't believe just to handle the extra ponies and torque.

I've only seen about 7 different 1500s with cummins.
