My buddy had some 37in iroks. They were freaking crazy loud and rode bad compared to his new terra graps. But with how wide they are it looks great

Yeah, I was thinking about painting the headlights and tinting the tails. Does anyone have the links for the DIYs on those? I saw the DIY on the headlights, but I think it was for newer models, mine is an 04.

I would not paint the grill shell. I would do the inserts. And tint the tails and headlights. Truck looks great tho man.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Yeah, that's what I meant to begin with, just the inserts. Yeah, I'm gonna do the heads and tails, and get black exhaust tips. Might even just cut them off for now.

I just painted my exhaust tailpipe a flat black. I had some VHT header paint laying around and used that. I like how it came out and was cheaper than a new tip. Yea I'd recommend painting the inserts as well. I did that before I got an after market one. After time though, the rocks and other crap will start to chip the black paint away. I'd recommend using something durable like wheel paint, plasti-dip, or even like a fine grit spray on liner. Your truck needs some tow mirrors now too!

I'd thought about that, but I didn't know how well it would hold up. Were your tips chrome? Doesn't it need to be a paint that can hold up to heat? I know the tips shouldn't get as hot as the headers or anything, but I figured it still needed to be a paint that could withstand heat. I think I'll try to get some engine paint or something. I want to do flat black too, I guess worse case, if I mess them up too bad I'll just cut the tips off like I was thinking about doing anyway. Do you have any pics of your tips painted? I rhino liner type paint would be sweet, but I don't know if it would hold up to the heat.
